Over 1100 luxuriously modern homes populate Cortina, an affluent neighborhood in the shadow of Queen Creek, Arizona. Fulton Homes began construction of this community in 2003, with the last houses going up in 2006. As one would expect from an upper-middle class community, home prices average close to $300,000 for a four-bedroom, 2400 square-foot residence, though some of the larger homes can top 4000 square feet and $500,000. Residents belong to the Cortina Homeowners Association, which is managed by Renaissance Community Partners based in nearby Gilbert, Arizona.

The Cortina grounds extend from Germann Road in the north, to Queen Creek Road on the south end, and bordered east to west by Sossaman and Power roads. Scattered among all that space are two large community parks, a single pool, and Cortina Elementary School, which is part of the Higley School District. Cortina residents also enjoy very close proximity to numerous restaurants and shopping centers of most every variety, some of which are within walking distance of the community. Nature lovers are a mere ten minutes from the San Tan Mountains, which border Queen Creek to the south, while a ten minute drive north will connect folks with Loop 202 and the greater Phoenix area.
